Zissou the Cat needs a home
Zissou recently came to Purrfect Pals when his temporary foster home could no longer keep him. Originally found abandoned by the side of the road in a carrier, he was saved by a kind person who does rescue work. They found Zissou his temporary foster home and got him to a vet, where he was altered, microchipped and viral tested. Zissou tested positive for FIV. It is important to note that FIV+ cats can live normal life spans and that the virus is not a concern for people or animals other than cats. Zissou is a handsome young tabby who was exposed to dogs in his foster home, but didn't get along very well with them. Given what we know from his foster home, Zissou would do best in a home without dogs or young children. He could certainly live with other FIV+ cats. Zissou is a young guy who has had some tough breaks, and he needs a cat savvy person who understands that it will take patience and time for him to relax and trust people again. Zissou is ready for a chance at a true forever home! Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Zissou has been viral tested, altered, microchipped and vaccinated.
